A full dental exam for $1? Only $14 more to add a cleaning? That's less expensive than some dental insurance copays. Yeah, I thought this sounded too good to be true, so we decided to check it out.

My husband visited the location near 83rd Ave. and Union Hills Dr., in Peoria.  I felt pretty sure they would try and tack on some kind of extra charges at the end - but guess what, they didn't!  He was pretty happy with the cleaning.  But, as with any of these deals, be sure to check out reviews and do some research yourself.  This place had a good number of positive reviews.

If you don't live near these areas, always check your local Valpak (or go online to www.valpak.com)  for dental discounts.  I found 5 coupons in my local mailer - and most were around $49 for an exam, x-rays, and cleanings.  That's still a pretty good deal!
